- Access name server Settings: Access name server Settings by clicking the dropdown button in front of the domain name and selecting 'Manage Nameservers'.
- Enter New name server Details: Select 'Custom Nameservers' and update the existing name server information with the new name server details. Ensure the input includes the complete names of the new name servers (ex: ns1.example.lk, ns2.example.lk).
- Save Changes: Confirm your modifications by clicking 'Change Nameservers' after entering the updated details. This action initiates the update of the name server information linked to your domain.
- Propagation Time: Be aware that changes to name servers may take some time to propagate globally, ranging from a few hours to up to 48 hours in some cases.
- Visit Register.lk Domains page: Access the domain purchase page on Register.lk by going to https://register.lk/domains.php.
- Search for your preferred Domain: Upon reaching the page, enter your desired domain name in the search field. Click 'Search Domain' to check its availability.
- Choose your Domain and Hosting package: If your desired domain is available, select your preferred Domain + Hosting package. Available packages include:

- moon.namebirth.com - Save Changes: Confirm your modifications by clicking 'Change Nameservers' after entering the updated details. This initiates the update of the name server information associated with your domain.
- Domain Forwardings Navigation: Access Domain Forwardings by going to 'Domains' > 'My Domains', click the 'Active' button next to the relevant domain, and select 'Domain Forwarders' from the left-hand panel.
- Enter Redirecting Details: Select the desired Domain Forwarding options, add the redirecting URL in the 'Redirect To:' field, and click 'Add Domain Forwarder' to implement the redirection.
Regrettably, the reselling of .LK domain names is prohibited by the LK domain registry's policies.
Upon purchasing a .LK domain, you will be requested to submit domains owner's information via an online form. The registrant specified in the submitted form will become the absolute owner of the respective .LK domain.
